Community Partners

Groundswell is able to function due to the collaborative nature of the coalition. All partners are invited to participate in governance of Groundswell and serve as governing board members, committe chairs, and elected board members.

Generally, partners are either considered "School Partners" or "Community Partners" for professional development and funding purposes. School Partners recieve project funding to work with middle and high school students and attend professional development related to implementing and sustaining these projects. Community Partners participate in a range of capacities, from partnering with specific School Partners and assisting with project implementation to assisting with organizational-level efforts and offering resources to enhance stewardship efforts.
