GVSU's College of Education is dedicated to teaching, leading and learning in a democratic society. This means the COE works to create quality programming in the communities it serves.

The COE Center for Educational Partnerships serves as the college's connection to the community, working with community partners to facilitate quality learning environments for K-12 students.

Groundswell is an environmental education program that works with teachers and community partners to help students become stewards of their environment and save and protect the Great Lakes.

The Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship works with college seniors or graduates with science and math majors to complete education courses and work in high-needs Michigan schools.
